Intro

I am going to tell you about a campaign strategy that I have worked on last year with an amazing, and passionate person. She is a Hypnotherapist. For the ones who don’t know what this is, it is a guided meditation that will allow you to influence a lot of different things in your life. Like, traumatic experiences, habits, or getting yourself out of a stressful period in your life.

For this campaign, we focused on something a bit more intense. We focused on the fertility part of this therapy. Women who think they are not able to get pregnant. 1/3 women who can’t get pregnant have a mental issue, not a physical one. Hypnotherapy brakes this mental boarder, which allows the brain to flip a switch. The brain is a very powerful tool to make our bodies do the things we want. So it comes to no surprise that the overal succes rate of this therapy is over 93%. So we were confident in our abilities.

A Brilliant Business Model

We decided to advertise this as it was for a beautiful cause + the business model is brilliant: Couples spend an average of 30.000 euro’s on a fertility clinic without getting any results. They experience a long process that does not stimulate their relationship, and can lead to a depression. With our fertility program the relationship between partners becomes stronger, it has an overall higher success rate, and a cheaper price. (1000 Euro’s). This is mostly profit for the therapist. The only thing that was needed, to run this therapy, was a good space, time, and of course a budget for the ads.

“In only a week there were over 20 women sending us e-mails and messages about the program we offered”

Tools and platforms used

For our Facebook Ads we created a short but sweet video with compelling copywriting and landing page.

We used tools like:

  1. Promo

  2. Click-funnels

  3. Business platform Facebook

Strategies used

  1. Engagement boost: Our campaign needed some engagement first. We did this to build trust for our customers. An ad with 100 likes and 20 comments is more likely to be clicked on than one with zero interaction. These ads are very budget friendly.

  1. Traffic strategy: This strategy was the core of the campaign. It allowed our campaign to receive information. Trough this knowledge I build the conversion campaigns.

  2. Conversion strategy: Our conversion was not focussed on actually buying a product or service. It was set on gathering email addresses of potential clients. These emails addresses were sent to an e-mail cycle that would eventually make them convert.

  3. Look-a-Like Audience: Once we created enough information for Facebook I was able to create a Look-aLike audience campaign. These campaigns made sure that the people who actually clicked and scrolled trough our landing page were saved. Facebook would find similar people who are likely to perform action. The longer I ran the campaigns, the more information I got, the smarter Facebook gets, the better the campaigns.

  4. Retargeting: Through the Facebook pixel I installed on the landing page, I was able to track the people who performed near conversions. Retargeting these people, and then performing another Look-A-Like audience ad on this would get me even better results.

  5. Messaging: Over 20 women contacted us trough messages and e-mail. By giving them the information they needed and interaction we closely watched our ROAS grow.

  • 750 Euro’s

Results:

  • €0.25 CPC (Landing Page Views)

  • 65 Leads

  • 225% ROAS

  • 95% increase interaction with main website
